<u>ask.UOS – der neue, intelligente
Begleiter für Fragen zum
Universitätsleben</u><br>
<a href="https://ask.uni-osnabrueck.de/"
_blank"="">ask.UOS</a> ist ein <b>experimenteller</b>,
agentenbasierter Chatbot, der auf
generativer KI-Technologie (GPT-4o)
basiert und speziell dafür entwickelt
wurde, ausschließlich <b>Informationen
von der Website der Universität
Osnabrück</b> zu nutzen – damit
unterscheidet sich dieser Chatbot von z.
B. <a
href="https://ki.uni-osnabrueck.de/"
_blank"="">kiwi</a>. Der Bot ist in
der Lage, eine breite Palette
allgemeiner Fragen zum Universitätsleben
in kürzester Zeit zu beantworten; dazu
gehören Fragen zum Bewerbungsprozess, zu
den akademischen Anforderungen und zu
verschiedenen Studiengängen. <br>
Durch den Chatbot können Nutzer*innen
schnelle Unterstützung in einer
gesprächsähnlichen Art und Weise
erhalten, ohne sich nach
Sprechstundenzeiten zu richten oder erst
einmal die richtige Ansprechperson für
das jeweilige Anliegen zu finden – und
das 24/7. Andersherum bietet die Nutzung
des Chatbots für z. B. die
Studierendenberatung in den Fächern den
Vorteil, das Supportaufkommen zu
reduzieren. <br>

<h2>Podcasting: Ein Leitfaden und ein
neuer Podcastraum an der Universität
Osnabrück</h2>
<u>Podcasting in Studium und Lehre an
der UOS – ein Leitfaden</u><br>
Podcasts sind ein effektives Mittel zur
Wissensvermittlung und
Wissenschaftskommunikation. Sie
ermöglichen flexibles Lernen,
erleichtern den Zugang zu
Forschungsergebnissen und fördern die
interdisziplinäre Vernetzung. Mit der <a
href="https://podcast.uni-osnabrueck.de/" _blank"="">Castopod-Instanz</a>
an der Universität Osnabrück steht
Lehrenden und Studierenden nun eine
Plattform zur Verfügung, um eigene
Podcasts zu veröffentlichen. In diesem <a
href="https://digitale-lehre.uni-osnabrueck.de/2025/02/04/podcasting-in-studium-und-lehre-an-der-uos-ein-leitfaden/"
_blank"="">Leitfaden</a> werden die
Vorteile von Podcasts für Studium und
Lehre, deren inhaltlicher und
technischer Aufbau sowie
lizenzrechtliche Aspekte erläutert.
Dabei liegt der Fokus darauf, wie
Podcasts als offene Bildungsmaterialien
(OER) genutzt werden können und welche
Möglichkeiten Castopod für die
Hochschullehre bietet. <br>
<br>
<u>Ein neuer Podcastraum steht zur
Verfügung</u><br>
Ihnen ist vielleicht bereits unser
Podcastraum in 15/222 mit der
Schallschutzkabine bekannt. Angesichts
der hohen Auslastung haben wir uns
entschieden, einen weiteren Podcastraum
in <b>15/223</b> für Sie und Ihre
Studierenden einzurichten. Dieser neue
Raum bietet einen Kontrast zu unserem
bisherigen Podcastraum, da er mit einer
lichtdurchfluteten Fensterfront
ausgestattet ist. Dadurch wirkt er
heller und offener – ideal für kreative
Arbeitsprozesse. Der neue Raum ist zwar
keine Schallschutzkabine, aber mit
Akustikplatten an den Wänden und
speziellen Deckenplatten haben wir
dennoch eine geeignete Podcastumgebung
geschaffen. Die Technik umfasst
USB-Mikrofone und die Aufnahmesoftware
RODE Connect. Das garantiert
hervorragende Ergebnisse bei einfacher
Bedienung für bis zu vier Personen. Ein
