Time is flying and the <b>PLATIAL'18 workshop</b> is getting
closer and closer! Next week we are looking forward to an
interesting and varied programme of talks in <b>Heidelberg</b>.
They will discuss place-related topics ranging from philosophical
questions to visualization. In addition, we are pleased to present
two confirmed <b>keynote speakers</b>: <b>Dr Clare Davies</b>
(University of Winchester, UK) will speak from a psychological
point of view about "places as location categories", and <b>Dr
Alexis Comber</b> (University of Leeds, UK) will take a spatial
analysis perspective and talk about "quantitative platial
analysis". <br>
