Dear friends & colleagues,

The network Postcolonial Hierarchies (BMBF) is pleased to invite you to the
Public Lecture “Colonial Heritage & Knowledge Production in Conflict” by
Prof. Dr. Paul Basu, who holds the Hertz Chair for the Transdiciplinary
Research Area Present Pasts at the University of Bonn.

The lecture will take place on Wednesday, 5th of October 2022 / 19h CET at
the University of Freiburg, Lecture Hall 1098 (KG I). The language of the
event is English. Please see the attached announcement for more information.

In case you want to join the event online (via Zoom), you will have to
register under this link: https://formaloo.net/lecture_paulbasu. A zoom-link
to access the lecture will be provided via E-Mail a few days before the
event. 

The network "Postcolonial Hierarchies in Peace and Conflict" (Hierarchies)
is a collaborative project of the Arnold Bergstraesser Institute (ABI)
Freiburg, the Center for Conflict Studies at the Philipps University
Marburg, the University of Bayreuth, and the University of Erfurt. It is an
interdisciplinary research initiative funded by the German Federal Ministry
of Education and Research (BMBF).
