If you unfortunately cannot make it to the WhereCamp, you may also consider to participate at our 4th GeoMonday ( http://geomonday.org/) sessions, which will be announced also soon.
You may also consider to involve yourself more as a member of the renewed Association for Geoinformatics, GeoIT and Navigation e.V. ( http://www.geoit.org/newmember.html). The website will be improved soon.
Last but not least...
We would like to draw your attention to the matchmaking event, which is going to take place at the Conference.
A matchmaking event is an event that is very similar to speed dating in terms of the concept. This is where organizations who are interested in similar fields and offer different skills, products and services come together to network and find the perfect match for their organization. It is a faster method of networking by having all interested parties together in one place.
Organizations that are interested in participating have to submit their co-operation profile on a matchmaking platform. The co-operation profile has information on what their organization is all about and what it is they are looking for. This profile is then available to potential participants so they know to whom to talk. Finally, meetings are set up between companies before the actual event and they are either accepted or rejected by the other participants.
For more information and the chance to register please click here: http://www.b2match.eu/wherecamp2016.
We are looking forward to meet you all again!
