ISDE12: Digital Earth for Sustainable Societies

We are honoured to host the ISDE12 at the Department of Geoinformatics at the University of Salzburg, Austria in 2021. We will bring together policy makers and scientists and will explore pathways towards the vision of a 'Digital Earth'. ISDE12 aims to support the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by harnessing the world’s data and information resources to digitally represent our planet, and to monitor, measure and forecast natural and human activities on Earth.

1st Call for Papers

The organizing committee for ISDE12 is pleased to invite submissions for the next bi-annual Symposium of the International Society of Digital Earth (ISDE) at the University of Salzburg, Austria, scheduled for July 6-8, 2021.The main Symposium themes focus on a geospatial perspective to
1.    Explore change in globally coupled natural, social and economic systems
2.    Identify tractable pathways for sustainable and equitable development
3.    Applications & Best Practice for our planet
The ISDE12 Symposium at this time invites two types of submissions:

  *   Scientific Papers (max. 2500 words, 4-6 pages).
  *   Best Practice Papers (from 1000 to 2500 words, max. 6 pages).
