Juli | www.agit.at Bei aller derzeitig herrschenden Unsicherheit planen wir die AGIT derzeit als Präsenzkonferenz in Salzburg, werden aber auch darauf vorbereitet sein, das Symposium hybrid oder komplett im virtuellen Raum zu veranstalten, sollten es die Umstände erfordern. Das englischsprachige GI_Forum planen wir als Onlinekonferenz, mit ausgewählten Veranstaltungen, die wir vor Ort anbieten wollen. Auch wenn also die Form derzeit noch nicht ganz feststeht, sicher ist eines: wir treffen uns in der ersten vollen Juli Woche, vom 5.-9. Juli 2021. Seien Sie dabei, wir freuen uns auf ein Wiedersehen! Die Idee hinter dem Motto re.connecting spatially Geoinformatik ist als leistungsfähige Methodik auf Grundlage von georeferenzierten Technologien etabliert, und heute aus unterschiedlichsten Anwendungsdomänen nicht mehr wegzudenken. Wie kam es zu dieser dynamischen Entwicklung hin zu einer Schlüsseldisziplin der Digitalisierung aller Lebens- und Wirtschaftsbereiche? Koordinaten dienen als Schlüssel zur Verknüpfung jeglicher ortsbezogener Daten und Informationen. Durch deren Integration mittels ‚spatial joins‘ entstehen neue Informationen, zusätzliches Wissen steht als Entscheidungsgrundlage in Gesellschaft, Wissenschaft und Wirtschaft bereit. The German-language AGIT is currently being planned as an on-site conference. However, we’re prepared to switch to a hybrid- or online event, should the circumstances require it. They change how we travel, pay for goods and services, shop, find accommodation and food. They also change how cities are managed and organised and mark an important shift towards dataification and digitalisation of life. This talk takes a closer look at Mobility as a Service [Maas] platforms from the sociological perspective. It describes the capacities these technologies have to restructure daily travel as well as public spaces in cities.
