nachstehend leite ich Ihnen Informationen von Christina Clark-Kazak zu
forschungsethischen Dokumenten weiter: einerseits das Informationsblatt
„your rights in research“, das mittlerweile in 20 Sprachen verfügbar ist,
und andererseits der „code of ethics“ der IASFM, der in Englisch,
Französisch und Spanisch bereitgestellt wird.

Dear colleagues,

As part of a collaboration between CCR, CARFMS and CRS, and then IASFM,
several reference documents related to ethical considerations for research
with people in forced migration have been developed over the past few years.


 

One, “Your Rights in Research” is an information sheet for people who are
asked to participate in research. It is intended to explain in lay person’s
terms, some of the vocabulary found in standard consent forms. It also
outlines key considerations and resources, with particular attention to
lived experiences of newcomers. The “Your Rights in Research” document is
now available in 20 languages! The translations were funded by SSHRC and
uOttawa and completed by Access Alliance Language services, Ayar Ata and
Ulrike Krause and collaborators. The translations were reviewed by many,
many dedicated colleagues. I am grateful to everyone who contributed their
time and talents to this project.

 

All 20 translations are available on the CARFMS website (with thanks to

The CCR website has the ethical guidelines; the executive summary (with
checklist) and most of the translations of “Your Rights in Research”; it
will be updated with the additional translations shortly:
